Welcome

Port Sunlight Village Social Club.
Here you will find information about the club, its facilities, membership and function rooms.
The club offers members and non members alike a comfortable environment in the heart of Port Sunlight Village.  Located in the Lyceum building which was built in 1895 and originally housed the Village church and school. In 1902 it became the men’s bowling club and was known as ‘The Pavillion’, later on the club became commonly known as the men’s club. This changed in the early 1990s when, moving with the times, it became the Village social club. Today, it is available to hire for weddings, funerals, christenings and birthday parties. The Tea Room is open daily from 11am – 4pm serving hot & cold food.

The Club is a club run for the benefit of all. The committee works tirelessly to provide all our members with the best possible environment to enjoy themselves any day of the week.
The club has four full size snooker tables which are available for use by members and a pool table is also available.
The club is the proud home to a number of activities and team sports, including:

  • Our Sunday night quiz
  • 6 Snooker teams
  • Billiards team
  • Bowls – ladies and gents teams
  • Zumba Class

We are also looking for darts players to help us to field a darts team to compete in the local league. So if you fancy yourself as the New Phil (or Phillipa) The Power Taylor then come along.

The club is also home to a number of specialist interest groups who meet regularly at the club and we can always accomodate more giving you space to meet on a regular basis.
